Germany is one of the best destinations to study nursing as there is a huge demand for nurses.

To become a registered nurse, you must complete a professional nursing training program which takes around 3 years. However, if you are a trained nurse in your own country, your qualifications will be recognised in Germany.

However, you must be proficient in the German language (B2 Level) and possess a degree equivalent to the German one.

During the 3 years of training, a nurse will earn between 1040- 1200 Euros per month.

In addition, nurses do receive an annual pay of 33,000 EUR on average, with a monthly compensation of 2800 EUR and 2900 EUR on an average.

However, it all depends on the work experience.

Nurses usually work at least 30-40 hours that involve 7-9 hours of shift. However, they also have shifts during the weekend or night.

Once you become a Registered Nurse in Germany, you can stay for 5 years on a work visa. After 5 years, you can stay on a permanent resident basis.
